Make sure you read the instructions that come with your signal software

Make sure you read the instructions that come with your signal software and understand the types of signal you are receiving. Some software offer very detailed information about the volatility of a currency, or if it has been overbought or oversold. Learn how to use these indicators to make informed decisions.

If you apply this strategy, be sure that indicators have confirmed that those top and bottom choices have taken form first. This won't remove all risk, but it will minimize it by making you remain patient and carefully view the market conditions.

Keep an eye out for market signals. These signals are used by both brokers and independent traders to aid traders by alerting when the best times are to choose entry and exit points. The values of markets vary, but once certain variables reach certain points a signal goes out to alert the traders. It is up to you whether or not you choose to do anything upon receiving a signal.

Focus on trading one or two currency pairs. It is easier to follow their daily and hourly fluctuations and set up trends. You will soon learn their range and volatility level during the week, which will help you to time your trade. Following several forex pairs is time consuming and proves to be less effective than following one or two pairs.
